Putin hoped and prayed that the world would forget about Navalny, but no such luck. On the contrary, Navalny was attracting more and more attention. So once again, Putin went for his dog-eared KGB handbook, which isn't very imaginative in these matters.

@reallymakesyouthink I suppose you're right, even the practically non-existent opposition sucks to some degree in Russia. But everything is relative. Putin takes the cake.
