@arifcso6633 Estonia is officially a Northern European country as per the UN geoscheme. Besides, 'Nordic' isn't the badge of honour you seem to think it is. Most foreigners will use 'Scandinavia' to refer to us, unaware of the fact that Finland is not part of Scandinavia. Estonia certainly isn't, but like the Finns, they're not making any claims either. In fact, as a Finn who's officially allowed to call himself a veteran, I feel a stronger kinship with the Estonians than my fellow Nordics. As Finns, we know for a fact that the Estonians can fight, and will, too.

@eamonnclabby7067 So true. The British style of professional soldiering has definitely rubbed off on the Irish (or vice versa?). I served with Irish peacekeepers in Lebanon and had a British superior in Kosovo. The similarity in style has very apparent. As a reservist on active duty on both occasions, I felt like an amateur in comparison.

@oh2mp Even so, a mere 21,000 privately-owned guns in Finland qualify as 'reserviläiskivääri' or semi-auto assault rifles. They shoot different rounds, too, as in 5.56 and 7.62x39, which makes logistics troublesome. It's good for keeping up your marksmanship skills, but not much else.
