If tanks are accompanied by infantry as doctrine prescribes, they're still plenty useful. The point is not to use them as battering rams, but to have them take out enemy strong points from afar so that the infantry can advance.

@francissantos7448 If the Russians are clever about it, they'll tunnel though buildings rather than move through the streets, where they'll be ambushed for sure. More likely, the Russian commanders will send in Asian conscripts or Syrian mercenaries as bait so that the defenders reveal themselves. It's quicker that way and Russian casualty figures don't seem to matter, to say nothing of Syrian casualties.

Relax, it's just an excess of paint. In the Dutch army of the 80s, we used to say that if something moves, you greet it. If it doesn't, you paint it green. That's how our tanks ended up with so many layers of paint that their hatches wouldn't close any longer.
