@itzhakrabin Muddy ground is no more an issue to either type than to the Russian MBTs. The keywords are ground pressure and power-to-weight ratio. The Leo 2 and Chally 2 equal and/or exceed the T-72, T-80 and T-90 in those respects. But I guess facts don't bother you.

@luxraider5384 That's an interesting claim. How will Russia take Odesa now that it has lost Kherson? An amphibious assault is a very risky undertaking at the best of times, and the best times are clearly behind for Russia, after its specialist forces were decimated early in the war. It would be Russia's Battle of the Bulge.

Some old-school generals agreed with you already in 1918. You could be the great-grandchild of one, with both your grandfather and father having repeated the same mantra. The rationale goes like this: if a tank is not invincible, it's obsolete as a weapons system. If the same principle was applied to humans, we'd no longer fight in wars.
