  1. That was never in question. You don't seem to understand how immensily superior Israel is in a military capacity to Hamas. Israel more than held its own against its neighbouring countries and their vast and well-equipped armies, even when they ganged up on Israel, all at the same time. Hamas is just a terrorist organisation.

  2. Israel is perpetually prepared for a multi-front conventional war against conventional armies. This attack by Hamas -- a terrorist organisation -- may be a painful sting, but it's far from debilitating in a military sense. Israel may need some specialist weapons from abroad, but that's about it. Ukraine won't notice a difference in weapon deliveries.
