  1.  @kevinyoung9557  You needn't go that far back in history. We still had bicycle marches when I did my basic training in 1986. Hilariously, my bike was WW1 vintage, because my large Dutch frame proved too large for the standard-issue bikes of the Finnish Armed Forces.

  2. Bikes are actually potent weapons in hybrid warfare. During the Migrant Crisis, Russia let asylum seekers cross into Norway... on bike. Something to do with immigration restrictions, which prohibited border crossings on foot in the High North.
