  1. +TekkGnostic Sure, Trump is issuing executive orders left, right and centre. Most will be judged unconstitutional, will amount to nothing for lack of funding or are otherwise infeasible. Of course, the Trumpists with their short attention spans won't notice a thing. Or they'll blame the elitists. Trump should replace "Make America Great Again" with "Appearance is Everything".

I am convinced that Trump made a cynical calculation that by pandering to the instincts of the disgruntled masses, he'd be elevated to power, and that, to America's eternal shame (and I admit, to my surprise), is what happened. Trump may succeed in making life difficult for illegal immigrants and refugees, but neither that nor his protectionist trade policies are going to bring back coal-mining and manufacturing to the US. Oh well, maybe Trump's bread and circuses will keep your lot quiet while he hobnobs with the elite.
