  7. Shaun Dee Time will tell, but in the mean time, in the real world, there's nothing to suggest that Russia's influence is on the rise. If anything, the Ukraine crisis underlined the decline in Russia's influence. Moreover, Putin's rash actions only served to hasten it. His bravado might impress the impressionable, but at the end of the day, it's just that -- bravado.
