@michaeljunior1445 You're missing the point. At the end of the day, herd immunity is a given for all countries, but there are different roads to get there. A bad one, which Sweden seems to have chosen, is where many critical patients die because the ICUs can't cope with their sheer number. On the other hand, if you manage to flatten the curve with lock-downs or whatever restrictions and achieve a better match between ICU demand and availability, many otherwise-doomed patients will be saved. When the dust settles, the top-ranking health officials in Sweden will be facing early retirement. You always err on the side of caution.

@michaeljunior1445 Also, in a shooting war, Sweden could dress its soldiers in drag and have them sing "Give Peace a Chance" while advancing on the enemy with open arms. Afterwards, the top brass could evaluate if the tactic served it purpose, i.e. did the enemy realise the absurdity of war and consequently, sue for peace? You're clearly favouring the same approach with regards to the coronavirus. Maybe it's just me, but I'm more inclined to favour battle-tested tactics, also with regard to the coronavirus.
