France has not even hinted at such a possibility re. Corsica. That being said, Scottish independence will undoubtedly embolden separatists all over the continent. Spain and France aren't the only ones affected. Belgium and Italy immediately spring to mind. Luckily, we have a framework in the EU that keeps things nicely together all the same. It all makes perfect sense if you consider that Europe's nation states came to be out of a necessity to protect themselves from their neighbours -- a totally outdated idea in this day and age. The Scots have it all figured out.
