Not for combat. US private military contractors provide security services, such as close protection of VIPs. They're not trained to conduct combined arms operations. Having said that, even Russia's elite soldiers struggle with combined arms, so in this case it doesn't matter whether the Russians sacrifice Wagner or regular troops.

@logikus8638 No matter how much you wish it to be true, there's no sense in using private military contractors for combat roles that they're not trained for or current in. I have to conclude that you have no idea what combat entails. You haven't served in the military, have you? Of course, in Ukraine, with regard to Wagner, anything goes. Beggars can't be choosers.

@logikus8638 You'll believe anything you want to believe. It's called confirmation bias. You still don't get it. I couldn't care less whether Blackwater were involved in combat operations or not. Not being American, I have no agenda. What I'm trying to tell you that it's akin to making postmen put out housefires. They're not the right tool for the job.
