  2. British Commonwealth? It's not called that since 1949. And I fail to see how a loose sports and culture club is of any significance here. It has members who think its sole purpose is to stick it to their former colonial master, the UK.

  3.  @kongthai..  It's the 'Commonwealth of Nations', sport. No 'British' in the name since 1949. Me being jealous would imply that the Commonwealth is actually a trade bloc or customs union. It simply is not. You might as well ask me if I'm jealous of The Mickey Mouse Club. The IT firm that I'm a co-founder of recently hired two Indians. Had we asked the Indian authorities if we needed permission from the 'British Commonwealth' to hire them, they would've rolled over the floor laughing.

  4.  @kongthai..  Everyone wants to be in the your Still-not-British Commonwealth? On what do you base that assertion? Facts, please. My country isn't even thinking of joining, but we're deemed to be better off democracy-wise than your beloved Britain. And it's Brits that came to that conclusion. For laughs, read the entry for 'trade bloc' in Wikipedia. Report back to me if you found any mention of the Commonwealth.
