  2.  @washuneluvhada7616  Russia saving Europe -- even once -- is highly debatable. I think the eagerness with which the former Soviet Bloc member joined NATO after the Soviet Union collapsed tells enough about Russia "saving" Europe. Moreover, I think you're trying very hard to ignore how the Russian Empire collapsed in WW1. Russia is very keen to celebrate its WW2 victory over Germany, but in WW1, the roles were reversed.
