@ambessaseway5594 Commodities are called such because of their wide availability. Suppliers aplenty. Switching gas suppliers is troublesome, but suppliers depend on their customers in equal measure. It appears only Putin didn't get the memo.

@silasnelson3116 OK, we'll consider it a development loan then, like the ones China extends to developing countries. So, retroactively, please pay us back a billion euros -- plus exorbitant interest of course. If you can't pay, we'll take possession of your port facilities and make you pay through the nose for their use. Suddenly you like development aid again, huh?
