  2. It just goes to show what happens when you arm rabble like the east Ukrainian rebels. They evidently decided to escalate matters and draw Russia fully into a conflict that they were losing, both militarily and politically. Without realising it, Putin has slipped a noose around his neck. It'll be fun watching him squirm when the rope starts to tighten.
