@shobhitdagur1086 You must be blissfully unawares that Western countries set conditions for arms exports. The more sophisticated the arms, the tighter the controls. Hence the serving of humble pie.

@SNkumar-cy7xq Dying to sell? On the contrary, our arms manufacturers can't meet demand, and that's from NATO partners alone. It happens regularly that arms export licences to India go unapproved. Often, it's because of technology transfer. Evidently, India can't be trusted with our most closely guarded secrets. Then there are concerns about India's human rights record with respect to Jammu and Kashmir. Even smalls arms deals have been nixed over that.

@VishalSawant-i8s Indeed, my personal opinion is irrelevant. However, what I wrote earlier is borne out by facts. You, on the other hand, have no facts to counter my opinion or to support yours. For some reason, Modi hasn't got better weapons to buy than the French Rafale multirole fighter. And he's a repeat customer, too.
