  1. Uh, Trump is upsetting a precarious balance that formed after numerous trade wars. There are always counter-tariffs when one side introduces new tariffs. No-one is innocent in this respect. You're making it appear like the USA is imposing tariffs for the first time ever.

  4. I posit that the US spends less on NATO than its fellow NATO members, who by and large are meeting the 2% NATO target. In order to arrive at a more realistic figure for US spending on NATO (and NATO alone) the 3.5% (or 2.8% according to other sources) US military expenditure should be halved. Do the math, as they say.
