  11. I'm sure France would be glad to rid itself of its expensive post-colonial remnants, but there are the locals to consider, who're clearly less keen to leave. France has been actively working towards abolishing the CFA franc, but it's a slow process. The participants could take matters in their own hands and simply leave. It wouldn't be a first.
