  4. Russia should remember WW1 and the Soviet-Afghan War. I strongly suspect this will play out in the same manner, with Russia collapsing from within, before or after an armistice. For Russia's sake, let's just hope there's no devastating civil war. We'd be saddled with a deluge of refugees once again, and we'd have to spend massive amounts on humanitarian aid again, too.

  5. Ukraine gives ground in exchange for massive Russian casualties. When Russia has to surrender the territory back to Ukraine, those crippled for life and the loved ones of the fallen will have to come to terms with the fact that it was all for nothing. Not that I think Putin will still be around, but they'll want to blame someone. You war cheerleaders should get a piece of their mind, too.
