@vinm300 So, you made it across the moat once, but a scary encounter with an angry Greek spoiled everything? I've perhaps travelled a bit more (at this rate I'll break the 100 countries barrier before retirement) and I've been treated with kindness everywhere. A few bad experiences are part of the package, but I haven't had my upper lip tremble, like ever.

@vinm300 Wow, you really have to go back far in history to malign the French. You didn't want to go back further, to when the French beat the Royal Navy, paving the way for US independence? I suppose the Norman Conquest is also out of bounds. And should we try to ignore Joan of Arc? France literally led the Allies to victory in WW1.
