If Krembots had to pay a tax on predicting the EU's downfall and the tax revenue would go towards arming Ukraine, Russia would lose in a jiffy.

China can't have an economic slowdown because the EU is in one? YT commenters never cease to amaze me with their bizarre comments.

@lagrangewei When will YT commenters learn that growth in developed countries and in developing countries is like apples and oranges? Growth in developed countries tends to plateau, because potential is carefully tapped already. In developing countries, not so. Even with what appears as brisk growth, China's economy is geared for higher growth. When said high growth doesn't pan out, overextended businesses start failing en masse. Please, study some macroeconomics.

Uh, there was a G8, which Russia was a member of. Russia got booted out when it started making war in Ukraine. Keep up with the news.

Did they escape from a penal colony, you think? Spelling.

Instead of merely flapping your gums, you could set them right. Troll much?

@RaviSingh-nm7lg Tease? I thought English was a formal language in India?
2
@leonardocolossi2270 And the Russian imperial project has started? Me thinks Russia never ceased to be an empire, it just went through a few rounds of rebranding. Backyard colonialism is and has always been Russia's objective.
2
Let's see if Putin joins upcoming summits in Brazil and South Africa. In person, that is. Zoom calls don't count.
2
It's a cold, hard fact that 141 vs. 5 countries oppose Russia in its ongoing bid to subdue Ukraine militarily. That number includes several BRICS countries, which have not reversed their stance in the matter. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
2
But its founding member Russia is, very much so.
2
I beg to differ. If BRICS can instill some order and discourage its members from waging wars of aggression (I'm looking at you, Russia), it's beneficial for Europe, too. A war may bring about certain advantages for the victorious party, but collectively speaking, wars are clearly detrimental, even for BRICS. Also, me thinks you're reading too much into Europe's past colonialism. It's Russia's continuing colonalism that you should worry about. Europe decolonised, but Russia didn't and now it's back to its old ways, trying to expand further.

141 countries practically is.
1
@sanjivghosh298 For your info, India is playing both sides, and voted blank at the UNGA when the war in Ukraine came up.
1
@harriemeeuwis978 Read the whole thread, vrind.
1
Oh, Putin is isolated. No other BRICS member supports his war of aggression, and some condemn it outright instead of engaging in their usual fence-sitting, like in India's case.
1
You're in for a looong wait. Imagine India adopting a currency that is largely controlled by a China that is semi-hostile to India. The same goes for the other BRICS members, who'd effectively put their economies in the hands of China's communist party dictatorship, which still likes to make micro- and macroeconomic decisions like before.
1
Still sore about Russia being kicked out of G8?
1
So, are we to conclude that 141 countries, out of 193 in all, constitute the West? Fine by me.
1
I was conerned about the NWO making way for the WEF in conspiracy theories, but I see it's back again. Can we have the Reptilians back, too, or did they die out with QE2?
1
@FunumusaNdawonde Are you conducting a soliloquy?
1
For your info, the Anglo-Saxons ceased to exist as an entity in the 11th century, when "our" William the Conqueror literally conquered England. His victorious troops, whose leaders subsequently lorded over England, were Norman, French, Flemish and Breton. Keep up with the news.
1
That's your pathetic victimhood speaking.
1
You're welcome to it. Dark Africa will drag BRICS down.
1
Nah. As always, Western investors are keenly looking for new growth markets opening up so they can make a bundle. As my professor used to say, money goes where it grows. No BRICS country -- with the possible exception of economically-mismanaged Russia -- will turn them away. As major shareholders, these investors demand a say, or they will pull their money out again. Your precious India is very much cosying up to Western investors, by the way.

You set us right then.

Give us a taste of your wisdom, o wise one.
