  2. Demolition charges were set off prematurely by a nearby RPG explosion. The building, as intended, came down, but with IDF soldiers still inside. It sound like an occupational accident. Soldiering is inherently dangerous.

  4. In this instance, the Hamas fighters simply got lucky. They were targeting a tank with an RPG, and as a result of lucky coincidence, set off demolition charges placed in a nearby building. It says nothing about their preparedness. No-one, not even Hamas, is in doubt over the military outcome of this war.

  5. I beg to differ. Hamas is nothing if not suicidal. Did you think Hamas was so naive as to think Israel wouldn't retaliate after the Oct 7 attacks? If so, your naivety takes the cake. Israel has a reputation of responding to every provocation with overwhelming force. Collateral damage is of little concern. Israel didn't disappoint this time either.
