  1.  @eschur  You don't seem to understand that there are different sides to the UN. There's the security council, the general assembly, the secretary-general and the various agencies, all of which can present different viewpoints. It must be superconfusing when you're only capable of binary thinking.

  3. It's obvious that Israel reacts to Hamas's terror attacks, but it needs emphasizing that Hamas's attacks didn't come out of the blue. Thanks for explaining the obvious, however -- Captain Obvious.

  4.  @993Redveg  Right, Guterres* (he's Portugese) is no president of the world and the UN isn't the world police either, no matter how much you'd like it to be different. Secretary-general describes his role quite accurately.
