  5.  @solconcordia4315  Keep fooling yourself. If those were the mission objectives, they could've been fulfilled in three months, or latest, when ISAF ended. If you think Afghanistan and post-war Japan and Germany were alike, your naivety truly knows no bounds.

  6.  @solconcordia4315  Japan and Germany were industrialised nations before WW2. Therefore, it was no fluke that both rebounded quickly, even to the point of overtaking their former enemies. Their belief systems -- Shinto, Buddhism and Christianity -- haven't been a recipe for success for other nations either.
