  1. That was a default on ruble-denominated debt, sport. The foreign-currency default was in 1918.

  2.  @Nickle314  The bondholders know Russia is good for it, but it's the domino effect that should really worry creditors and Russia alike. When Russian corporates start defaulting on their foreign debt, there are going to be asset seizures as per usual. No wonder Putin has to keep his oligarchs under house arrest.
