  7. Don't worry, if Iran makes an appearance in Syria, Israel will jump right in. After all, civil war-torn Syria is a shooting gallery/weapons range for Israel, where it can have fun and settle old scores with impunity. Somewhat ironically, forcibly dissuading Iran from waging proxy wars is a step -- one step -- toward peace in the Middle East. Israel has to undergo aggression counselling, too, of course.
