  5. @theAmbassador Not quite true. After WW2, the Americans created a myth about the French always surrendering and we all know how they like their bandwagons. Let's not forget that the French led the allies to victory in WW1. The fact wasn't lost on American military commanders, who were very much in awe of the French military -- till WW2 happened.
