  2.  @rloduwick  No, that would be Russia. The tsars of the Russian Empire were proud colonisers, and the Communists continued the tradition with equal fervour. Backyard colonialism, it's called. To add insult to injury, Russia has never properly decolonised, unlike the other erstwhile colonial powers.

  3. That's not the prevailing attitude of the international community. In fact, Israel only has one backer for its interpretation, the USA, and only because Trump put US obsequiousness towards Israel into overdrive.
