  3. Uh, the Baltic countries are the EU -- for their part. And it's not like the EU controls the national grids -- the members do, and they see value interconnecting their power grids. Peddle your conspiracy theories elsewhere.

  4. @aleserban9322 You must live in a dictatorship yourself, because you don't seem to understand that the Baltic countries have a seat at the table in *Brussels, a veto even. And the EU doesn't dictate electricity prices. Market forces do.

  8. The more imminent threat was a wholesale collapse of the Russian grid, which could've taken those of the Baltic states with it. No more danger of that -- far more likely -- scenario happening.
