@btccoins5514 You'll lose other manufacturing jobs because the Euros, Canadians, Mexicans and Chinese are going to slap retaliatory tariffs on the US products that they currently import. The end result is that US consumer prices go up and quality goes down.

No skin off my back, but Putin threatened same and got badly clobbered in the energy war he thought he could win easily. Russia's Gazprom is reporting one record loss after another. I don't see how Canada could suddenly conjure up alternative customers any more than Russia could.

@kennethmeeker6369 Oh, Trump has done better than that. In 2017, he slapped Canada's Bombardier with a 300% tariff on its airliners. The end result was that Airbus took over the business and now commands a clear lead in the small airliner category. The biggest loser is, of course, Boeing.
