@jeffrey4181 The price of not resisting Russian aggression is higher still. And Russia may have to pay the highest price of all. International isolation doesn't come cheap.

@lusvus5445 Russia is managing with the present spate of sanctions, but just barely. A further tightening of sanctions will crush Russia's dream of becoming a modern, diversified economy instead of the hydrocarbon exporter it is now. China can't -- and won't -- help there.

@PracticaProphetica Manufacturing is one thing, but exporting is quite another. China can't freely export many of its products as it is. I see it all the time -- Chinese electronics manufacturers warning that they can't export to Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Sudan and Syria because of export restriction on components. It's not unthinkable that Russia is added to the no-export list.

@guharup Neither of which is true. Pro-Russian arguments never stand scrutiny.

@guharup Oh, I'm not doing anti-papist conspiracy theories.
1
@guharup Now you're just being paranoid. I've never sung the praises of the USA. However, I do like facts, which you clearly hate.
1
@guharup You suggested that Ukraine has applied for NATO and EU membership. No such applications are pending. Fail.
1
@guharup What exactly am I supposed to read on Wikipedia? You sound incoherent.

@guharup OK, you're slowing becoming more articulate, but somehow you're still unable to articulate which Wikipedia article you're referring to. And that for such a "literate" person. In 2008, Ukraine was admitted to NATO's MAP process, but only for Yanukovych to put matters on hold two years later. Ukraine was considered to be active in MAP again in 2021. Be that as it may, it's still a long, long road to membership, as Ukraine doesn't come close to meeting the requirements. It's interesting to note that Russia remains in NATO's Partnership for Peace program, which was -- and still is -- considered a portal to NATO. By your logic, should we also consider Russia an active applicant for NATO membership? Would you care to elaborate on your claim that Ukraine is being offered EU membership? Or was that another attempt at trolling?

@STEP107 You've never heard of capitalist peace theory? Sure, the Germans didn't count on Putin's imperialist ambitions being so strong and his people being so apathetic.
1
You're joking, right? It's like you're telling a victim to work with the school bully.
1
Your icons are sooo cute! Are you a Japanese school girl?
