Your memory is failing you. The Battles of Kyiv and Kharkiv were won by Ukraine. These cities are respectively the largest and second-largest in Ukraine. Russia's largest victory to date, the Siege of Mariupol, was about the tenth-largest city in Ukraine.

@davidgmillsatty1900 Me, clueless? You should reserve your criticism for the Russian military brass, who had no clue what they'd be up against, or how to conduct a successful military campaign. Putin definitely aimed for regime change. I suspect that's what he'll get, only in Moscow, not Kyiv.

@davidgmillsatty1900 Unless you're completely clueless yourself, you should know that the rouble is being propped up by draconian capital controls and a sharp drop in imports. Neither bodes well for Russia's economy. Textbook feints don't result in crippling losses in men and materiel.
