  2.  @MilesBellas  Meaningless? Industry-related carbon emissions account for roughly half of humanity's carbon footprint. Forest fires are hardly an Asian phenomenon. Brazil, Russia, Australia and the US have been hit hard lately, too. Sure, developing countries such as India have problems with pollution, but what matters more in climate change are carbon emissions. Those of the US are more than twice that of India's, the latter's huge population notwithstanding. Don't get me even started on carbon footprint per capita.
