  3. Nunsuch, only relatively so. The political elite, both Democrat and Republican, is down, but far from out. The stagnant US political culture allows them to cling on to power for much longer still, and it will probably require a mini revolution to oust them. Trump getting elected is only a sign that trouble is afoot, but no more. After all, Trump has already made peace with the system.
