  7. Fseirst Lrest The Press Freedom Index, which is maintained by Reporters without Borders, also measures the freedom of expression that one's netizens enjoy -- in other words, you posting here. Similarly, the Democracy Index, by The Economist, considers freedom of the press and freedom of expression. As I said, all inter-related and overlapping.

  8. Gerry minbar07 In the Digital Age, freedom of speech, freedom of expression and freedom of the press are practically synonymous. As I tried to explain earlier, anything you post here falls under freedom of the press. I really wonder if Europe is indeed clamping down harder on hate speech than the USA. After all, you coined the term 'politically correct'. Combined with your undying love for litigation, the reverse may in fact be true. I don't know if you have a passport so you can form opinions based on reality, but in my own experience, the USA is a far cry from the land of the free.
