@terencefirth616 I'm sorry, I assumed too much. My figures are from HM Treasury. You fail to fathom is that the EU is far, far bigger than the UK. Hence the 8% exposure vs. the 53%, your absolute figures notwithstanding. I consider it a badge of honour that our products are more desirable than yours. Why do you think Trump ranted to the Chinese about the trade imbalance?

@terencefirth616 When will it sink in that your exports of goods to the EU amount to 53% of the total, whereas for the EU countries the reverse is 8% on average. A normal person of average IQ should readily understand who's suffering more from a disruption in trade.

But the continentals are sooo much more efficient at it. And now, with the EU trade deal in place, you can't even entice the farmers with lavish government subsidies.
