  1. It's isn't at all clear who stand behind whom in the Gaza conflict. What is, however, very clear that Russia has no-one except a few rogue nations standing behind it in the Ukraine conflict. How cute of you to suggest that Russia is "winning economically". Russia's war economy is living on borrowed time. The Kremlin economists are painfully aware that two years tops and the country is out of money, having cleaned out its national wealth fund.

  2. Two more years sounds about right. Over the past two years, Russia has expended half of its sovereign wealth fund. In another two years it's all gone. Bankrupt nations can't afford themselves the luxury of war.
