Hungary, as in the country that goes by that name, temporary holds the presidency of the Council of the EU. That doesn't mean Orban is president of the EU.

Orban gets chuckles in China. They know full well that the man is a political lightweight and that he represents the EU in name only. And Orban does lip service to peace.

@colinsmith1288 I'm sure Orban has good relations with Putin, too, but that doesn't improve his global standing any. Instead, it isolates Orban, especially within the EU and NATO. Smart man my bum-bum.

@ZsH85 According to whom extactly? Certainly not according to the duly elected representatives of the peoples of Europe. Orban is bottom of the list.

@ZsH85 You think the world of yourself. You should be fitted for a bicorne hat. Millions of comments on YouTube favour Orban? Have you given up your day job to keep count? Back to reality. Earlier this year, Ipsos found that Orban is the most disliked leader in the EU. 48% of those surveyed disapproved of him, while only 15% approved. Without Hungary and Bulgaria, the Viktator's score would've been much worse still.
