  1. You're being very silly. Individual EU members hold their own elections for the European Parliament. Candidates can campaign as much as they want -- in their own countries. Nothing is stopping them. We don't vote for Metsola, Michel or Von der Leyen, but our own national candidates. Not only that, Michel leads the European Council and Von der Leyen heads the European Commission. Both are separate from the European Parliament. You should prepare your diatribes better, because now you're just making a fool of yourself.
