Comments by "peabase" (@peabase) on "How are the Brexit delays affecting the EU parliament? | GME" video.
@GlobalistGazette Your rattled paranoid mind sees the hand of the EU everywhere, but truth of the matter is that the EU-27 have had no hand in any of it since successfully concluding negotiations with May's cabinet over the withdrawal agreement. Little did we know she hadn't a clue as to how British parliament would receive her deal. While her epic fail is one for the history books, parliament will get a chapter, too, for going into complete deadlock over what to do next. It's not up to the EU to organise a second referendum -- that's purely a domestic affair. In my humble opinion, the EU-27 should pre-empt the second referendum and cut the cord -- before you strangle yourselves with it. Let's face it, the UK is not EU material. Why would we want a millstone around our necks?

Brexit is shaking the UK apart, not the EU. In fact, I consider it a small miracle that the EU27 have acted in near-perfect unison in sorting out Brexit. I would've expected one or two members to break rank, just to win concessions in unrelated matters, but no, not one could be bothered. Brexit is a debacle all right, but it's all on the UK. I just returned from Australia, which is pro-UK by nature, and the consensus there was that the poms have gone bonkers.

@nigeljohnson9820 Don't flatter yourselves. You'll be destroyed before you have the chance to inflict serious harm on the EU. The irony is that we don't have to lift a finger. You're the suicidal demolition experts.

Ah, the British rot is spreading.

@nigeljohnson9820 You're expediting the decomposition of the EU by decomposing yourselves first? I suppose leading by example is admirable, but perhaps in other respects.
