Your childish emoticons notwithstanding, it's going rather well from a Western perspective. From a Russian perspective, the opposite is true. Both Russia's war machine and economy are sputtering.

@constantinenm I'm sorry to disappoint you, but we're not dependent on Russian energy. We've known for eons that Russia isn't to be trusted. And now our fellow Europeans know as well. Enjoy poverty.

@ronnrd5937 Thank you for asking, but no, no major problems here. We're blessed with robust economies and welfare states that take care of the less fortunate. How about you? You think we'll soon be sending humanitarian aid to Russia? I remember only too well when we did, in the nineties. Quite a show that was, us sending basic necessities to the Workers' Paradise. Just out of interest, which colonies are you alluding to? Are you sure you've got the right century? If you're talking about the 21st century, I suppose the UK and France would like to get rid of their few remaining microcolonies, but the colonised aren't keen on the idea. Something about losing benefits.
