@Ciupanezu1923 I'm amused. Are you actually suggesting that savings from the UK's contributions to the EU budget compensate for the recent trade-related losses? Not too long ago, it was reported that the UK suffered the biggest drop in economic output among the G7. Then there was the disastrous 42% slump in UK exports to the EU. Over to you.

@oprophetisfake9482 We were talking facts. Instead, you come up with a soundbite from Barnier that has little or no relevance to the matter at hand. Obviously Brexit is a common failure, but more so with regard to the UK than to the EU-27. You're paying a higher price than we are. Who else is wanting to leave? I can't think of a better vaccine against potential EU leavers than Brexit. And no one's ruling over elected parliaments. Haven't you heard of the EU members' power of veto?
