@jwserge That would be interesting. I distinctly remember visiting Helsinki once when there was a burning smell in the air. The locals explained that it was from forest fires across the border, inside Russia. The smell was worse still in St. Petersburg, my next destination. Don't you think radio-active particles would travel just as easily between the two cities? Moreover, the Helsinkians have fall-out shelters for the entire population. I very much doubt St. Petersburgians are as lucky. What is it with you Russians and nuclear posturing? Don't you realise it has an air of desperation to it?
