  1.  @ClarksonsinUSA  It's an ongoing process and you're far ahead of Belgium, where public debate about removing racially-offensive monuments only just began. You've already had how many Confederate monuments removed? A hundred? Two hundred? This channel has literally thousands on videos. You just posted a comment in the comment section of one. Didn't you notice?

  3. You're generalizing. Not all European countries engaged in colonialism. In fact, some are victims themselves. Besides, the perpetrators weren't confined to Europe. The Ottomans, Russians, Japanese, Americans and Chinese were at it, too. And in contrast to their European counterparts, Russia and China have been particularly slow to decolonize.
