@bladerunner16 It's good then, innit, that it happened in public. There's no doubt whatsoever about his culpability and the matter couldn't be swept under the carpet. It's like the passerby who touched a Spanish reporter's bum while on life TV and faced sexual assault charges on account of it.

@bladerunner16 Did you miss that both cases went to court? These guys are not only morally depraved, but also, very foolish. Their sense of entitlement should be seen as an aggravating circumstance. Tell me, don't you have any female loved ones that you'd want to keep safe from sexual abuse? If not, it figures.

@bladerunner16 Woke? I don't concern myself with what the media says when matters of guilt are decided upon. If the courts deem it sexual assault, it's just that for all intents and purposes. Laws are passed as a result of a lengthy democratic process, which implies they enjoy the people's consent. Rubiales could've defused the situation by immediately apologising and stepping down if his position was still untenable. He brought this upon himself. Of course the media jumped on it. Sex and crime sell, and Rubiales provided. So, you being anti-woke, I guess you don't have a problem if your mum/sister/wife/daughter gets sexually assaulted in public. Your stern look of disapproval suffices.

@bladerunner16 So you're saying the courts manipulate the law? You're not a great believer in the course of justice. "Sexual assault is an act in which one intentionally sexually touches another person without that person's consent, or coerces or physically forces a person to engage in a sexual act against their will." Do you need help with deciphering that? This falls in the first category, so Rubiales will probably get off with a fine.
1
@bladerunner16 That figures. I already thought you a malcontent with bitterness issues. Unlucky in love? You still don't get it. Whether or not it was sexual is for the courts to decide. It doesn't bode well for Rubiales, however.

@bladerunner16 Old age often goes hand in hand with bitterness in general. They'll hear her, too, of course. Maybe she'll be awarded token damages for emotional distress. However, Rubiales still appears to have broken the law. You might as well argue that there's no harm done if you euthanise a coma patient -- let's say someone who botched a suicide -- but I'm afraid that won't fly in court.

@bladerunner16 Now you're just acting thick. Which part of 'token' don't you understand?
1
@bladerunner16 Oh, aren't you prone to exaggeration. I alluded to Rubiales getting off with a fine, but I suppose you had a senior moment there as well.

@bladerunner16 See a doctor. He may prescribe something against premature aging.

@bladerunner16 Go play with a straw man, if you need to twist my words.
1
@bladerunner16 Your assessment is off, again.

@bladerunner16 Now you're projecting your own infirmity on me.
