  1. I must have missed this new country -- "Europe" you say? -- achieving nationhood. Does it include Western Russia, too, like the eponymous continent? My long-suffering geography teacher taught us that Europe extends eastward all the way to the Ural Mountains.

  4.  @DIOS-M  You must've missed all the hullabaloo about blood diamonds. If India massively forges the paperwork, they'll get away with it -- for a while, till they're on the receiving end of sanctions as well. Somehow I think India wants to be considered a law-abiding country where rule of law still applies.
