@southface6684 The Greeks put up a spirited resistance, but them defeating the Germans as per your claim, that's an exaggeration. If you want to heap praise on the Greeks, focus on them stopping the Italian invaders, forcing Germany to take over, which critically delayed Operation Barbarossa. Chances are Moscow would've fallen and Stalin would've sued for peace. Fortress Europe would've truly become a fortress.

@southface6684 In relative terms, Greece suffered far fewer combat deaths than civilian deaths, mostly due to famine. The former also included losses incurred in internecine fighting, between the various resistance groups.
