@userAndrew5 Truth be told, Poland has given us quite a return on investment. We've provided the funding for new infrastructure, and they've not only meticulously built said infrastructure, but also, they've put it too keen use. Moreover, the Poles' work ethic sets the bar high for the rest of us. When I lived in Belgium, a joke went around that the government was organising Polish language courses for the unemployed. The rationale went that if these unemployed were mistaken for Poles, they would be hired on the spot.
