  1. Why did Erdogan pick the Jews to make his point? He could have stayed closer to home and picked another ethnic group that was subjected to genocide: the Armenians.

  2.  We The idiots  Genocide isn't the proper description for the French trying to quell independence movements in their former colonies. Genocide is about destroying a people. It's simply bad business for a colonial master. You don't get to exploit cheap labour if you've killed off the labour force. Anyhoo, I didn't hear Macron make comparisons with the pre-war plight of the Jews -- Erdogan did. All I'm saying he could've used a homegrown example.
