  2.  @davidlamb591  You must be American. With universal healthcare, your scenario doesn't apply. I don't know about you, but we have the checks and balances in place that prevent politicizing healthcare. If the government acts against the interest of the electorate, they risk a no-confidence vote, which, if successful, means new elections and a government that's more in tune with the electorate.
